Had a great day at BPW on Sunday chaps, weather was Ok and the trails were running fast if a little muddy (Reds) under the trees but all in all a fantastic day out. Decided (stoopidly) not to take my bag with tools and tubes in on the trails, crank arm caught the drop off on 417 and fell off so some hasty repairs on the trail were in order to get me back to the carpark where the BB was removed and a spacer got took out, all tightened back up and away again. Next run down got a puncture walked to the fire road, asked for directions and got given a new tube and the loan of some levers and pump off a couple of guys who wouldn't take any money for it. Put enough air in to get me back to use the floor pump but couldn't resist giving it some on the run down and got the second puncture of the day . Anywho put new tube in with plenty of air this time and had a great rest of the day with only a small off on Bonnyville when my foot went through a perfectly positioned, foot sized hole in a root sticking out on a bend If anyone hasn't been i'd highly recommend it, the cafe does great well priced food, the guys in the uplift buses were friendly, helpful and chatty and the trails are very well kept and looked after, and for £30 well worth the money. Only down side, the bike wash wasn't working so i've got a very dirty bike sat in the shed and with the dark nights and work at the weekend no time to clean it

I can't believe you went all that way with no tools or spares.

It's a quality place! I was tempted to leave the camelbak in the car. As it happens, I could've done .I'm still tempted to leave it next time
