I dont want to come across all weight weenie, but Good luck to anybody pedalling those things with 3.7KG of wheel before, axle, cassette and tyres are added!

I quite like them, no more wrong than putting wire wheels on a car, weight is a problem though plus how do you true 'em?
Probably suit an odd retro frame like a Klein Mantra.
They're not Enduro though!

It says magnesium its lighter than aluminium. Why on earth are they so heavy then? Look like something I had in plastic on my BMX as a kid

Magnesium is softer so you need more of it, to my knowledge you don't get mag rims either probably wouldn't take spoke tension. For the size of the casting it is actually pretty light!
