I have... They're great all round tyres... A little heavy but hey ho!... Not the fastest tyre in the world, but a good inbetweener..

How do they compare to Ground controls re rolling resistance (used and liked GC's for 3 years , backs worn out on soul so thinking about putting purgatory on the front and not as worn front GC on back )

Chunky Monkeys are a far superior tyre.

Chunky Monkeys are a far superior tyre. If you like to feel like you're constantly riding uphill !!

Pedal harder. They aren't the lightest, but if you don't mind a bit of drag, grip is great Smorg on the back and Chunk up front ain't bad. Must admit though, got one up front on the S/S and it is hard work on top of hard work, got some panaracer fire xc's to go on when it finally wears out. That's another thing - they last forever! End of the day I got a tyre designed for UK trails for £14 (at the time). For a tyre at that price, they are a brilliant tyre. IMO.
