MCFC was a gay name, football disappoints me absolutely agree with that. I used to follow sheff utd. when I was younger, home and away and in the lowest division. I eventually saw the light when they were in the higher divisions, coming away from every game thinking, "what a load of crap" "what a waste of time and money" iv since provided myself with my own entertainment in my leisure time with this wonderful and fulfilling pastime we share amongst other things..............too many overpaid tossers in football now. rant over  |

MCFC was a gay name, football disappoints me absolutely agree with that. I used to follow sheff utd. when I was younger, home and away and in the lowest division. I eventually saw the light when they were in the higher divisions, coming away from every game thinking, "what a load of crap" "what a waste of time and money" iv since provided myself with my own entertainment in my leisure time with this wonderful and fulfilling pastime we share amongst other things..............too many overpaid tossers in football now. rant over I started to enjoy watching football a long time ago. I then discovered masturbation and realised that was a far better use of my time. |

But he was being a bell end about football Cant stand people being twats about football , people support who they want there is no need to be bell ends over it . cant stand united fans saying , we have won this we have won that , and that and that . we are the best team in the world even last season man utd fans with there crack pipes still saying we are the best team on the planet, we will win the league again and again we dont need to spend big money on players ,chelsea and city bought the league . and i just say ...and we haven't spent millions on one player ,we were the ones spending 30 million on Ferdinand , 29 million rooney , 28 million veron, 24 million van persie at 29 lol , i can go on, it just boils my blood , teams spend to compete , nobody ever says Real madrid bought the league or Barcelona. Me personally am a football fan i love watching the game as there could always be something magical that happens on the pitch. most exiting season ever was when city won it a few years back when aguero scored in dying seconds , i was gutted but god damn what a season . that season will never be beat in terms of excitement . |

It's always been about the football for me too..I would love to see my team win something again before I die ..but these days would just settle for an entertaining brand of football ..I hope that our manager has seen that the kids that he has brought in stay there on merit!
Football died a bit for me when they brought in all seater stadia ...the atmosphere in the grounds was instantly diluted ..safer yeah ..but the thrill of "rolling" down the terraces after Supermac had scored was fantastic ...
I don't miss the violence from those days though ..skinheads ..first time around was brutal when getting to and from a match involved a fight ..and most of the time with your own and not the opposition fans ...and I'm thankful that you no longer can get a " hot leg " from the bloke behind you being pissed up to the eyeballs and not being bothered about getting to the nettie...!

I've actually seen my lot win a major trophy, I can relax and just enjoy it now, doubt it'll happen again in my lifetime. I agree about the all seating killing the atmos a bit. Stans on a midweek night game can still be an intimidating place though, when we can be bothered. It's a brave away fan that walks the dark and dingy labyrinth of Small Heath and Digbeth after dark, Peaky Blinders alive and well |
