The shit waffles. The guys at Knolly have been colossal vaginas and not shipped the frame, which means there's potentially another 1-2 week wait.. Not something I wanted to hear tbh. At least I can now get another Trail King on the rear tyre and buy a new saddle so I don't have to use the orange one. Talking of which, saddle recommendations? I've got the charge scoop on both my bikes, not too chunky and doesn't kill your arse either. They do them in different colour combos too  |

I was thinking of one of a Charge Scoop, struggling to find one it all the usual etailers. Much cheaper than the ANVL ones I was looking at.

Went for an ANVL Forge in the end, nice sleek profile to it!
Also i STILL have no eta on the bike, the LBS is still trying to find out from the supplier. It's getting to point I'm either going to be cancelling the order or trying to get something extra from them. Not mad at the LBS though as they're doing they can :/

And yet another update about the lack of a bike. I still have nothing, but I did buy some new O'Neill knee pads so I've got that going for me which is nice.
I've given the LBS until Tuesday before I'm asking for a refund and buying something else, it'll still be through them but the importer is taking the piss now with it being 5 weeks and still no news as to where the bike is in the world. I've spyed a nice Mondraker Dune XR on SilverfishUK which they could get in (probably be quicker as well).

On saddles (even though you've now bought one).
I've used Charge Spoons for a while now on all my bikes. Love the comfort on longer rides. It took me ages to find a saddles that suits me and now I've found one, I'm kinda scared about trying another.. Same with bar grips. I've got ODI Yeti's on all my bikes and worry about trying different ones :/
On the bike.. If I were in your position, I think I'd be after some freebies or some cash back to make up for the delay. If that was refused then I'd be after a full refund!
If it's the importer that the probem lays with though, would the shop want to/be able to do any of that?

It's the importer the issue lies with, so the shop is getting just as pissed off as I've not become. I wasn't too bothered to begin with as I had shifts at work that weren't allowing me to ride (lates etc) but now it's got to a point I'm missing rides because of this. The shops been giving me a 10% discount on all purchases so I've saved a little.
They're also able to get GT bikes in now, so the new Sanction may be on the cards if the importer continues to be a bellend.

Potentially, I do have my heart set on the Knolly which is why I've put up with the wait for so long. After the Knolly, it'll be the Mondy but I'm really hoping it won't come to that though. I will be looking to write a letter of complaint to the importer once I have my frame though, maybe even send en email out to Knolly HQ asking them for the sake of everyone else wanting a frame to find a different importer. They're now just ignoring calls and emails :/

Not giving you information but also ignoring you when you ask.. I'd be fuming also.
I guess in that position though, there's not a massive amount you or your LBS can do!
Maybe contact Knolly now and let them know how pissed you are and that you're tempted to take your business elsewhere.?
