I agree Saints aren't very good at all, however I disagree in the Electrons not being grippy... I've had a few pairs, and all have been very good, in all weather!..

I'll see your Burgtecs and raise you some DMR Vaults

One of my pedals had seized to my cranks the other night, I was out with the drill hammers and all sorts of other tools smacking the axlee full on with both rubber and normal hamers and it is still as straight as it was the day it left the factory, using the drill caused it's premature death though Maybe the TI ones are stronger steal ones

Nukeproof Neutrons on my steed, very grippy IMO, alot has to be said for the footwear you pair them with though, like a good pair of 510s. If I place my foot wrong I can't just slide it into place, I have to physically lift my foot off to get it comfy.

Im going to be annoying and throw my wellgo B143s into the mixer. I think a lot of it is to do with the pins mine are hex semi domed ones that hook into my shoes perfectly.

I have nukeproof electrons on my hardtail and have never had a problem with grip. I liked them so much I got the nukeproof neutrons for my enduro.

Not given me any trouble, taken over a years abuse so far. anyway like I said I think it's more the pin shape and your shoe that gives you pedal grip hence a lot of people swear by skate shoes
