Why is it so hard lol, I genuinely thought £1800-£2k for a 6 month old commie supreme, fox 40’s, DHX RC4, all Zee gear, spare new tyres, tubes, brake stuff etc was an absolute steal and It would sell in a few days/weeks, had no serious enquiries except for one. Guy emailed me on the 31st of October, 37 emails later he had haggled down to the last spare part and arranged to meet next Monday, I messaged him a couple of days ago to get his mobile number so I can ring him when I know what time ill be at our meeting place, no response, seems like he is another internet dream boy, alarm bells started ringing when his last of the 37 emails was “what size is it and are both wheels the same size?” oh well lol. Looks like 2015 will be another downhill year, see if I break more than this year’s 4 snapped bones Fort bill Morzine Here I come

Try selling closer to spring when all the fair weather riders come out, it'll probably go then as people are gearing up to make the most of the nice weather.
If I could both afford and have space for the bike I'd have taken it off your hands.

The only daft swap offer I had was a small Scott voltage
My response was, "my advert states I want sell my dh bike for a more AM/Enduro bike, why would I want to swap my high spec, large DH bike for a lesser spec small one, thanks for the interest though"

I don't think I'm the greatest salesman ever.. I have a rare as fook Ti frame and one of the most popular trail/am bikes going and struggled.
Still got the Ti bike.. The Mega went the other night but only because I dropped the price that much it really was a bargain..
The Ti frame is being run SS rigid and I think that's why it won't sell. If I stick cheap crappy gears and fit suspension that's next to useless, it'll probably sell!
It's a pretty good spec bargain price but I've not had 1 enquiry about it.. I'll split it before I put gears on it..
Like Betty Swollox said, people want something for nothing..

I just want to rip peoples heads off when i'm selling stuff of value.
I had one guy on PB email me saying "best price posted" Nothing else... Cheeky twat.
When I put my frame up for sale i'm not going to bother with a price as there is no point when people just come back with "whats your best price" I'd rather someone came back with an insulting offer!

I'm in the, 'lots of buyers are knobbers camp' as well. I've sold 2 bikes recently, and 3 this year. I had loads of twats with the MDE and a few with the Cotic and 909 before they went. I must have been fairly lucky in the end though, as I've have managed to find great buyers to deal with all 3 in the end. Just waiting on confirmation that the 909 arrived safe and sound with the buyer today...

I struggled to sell mine too . sold in the end with only one serious intention of buying .really nice guy never let me down when he said he couldn't meet for about a week. sold it with only the handlebars and stem nukeproof upgrades . I paid £1440 for the bike standard just 12 months ago but then got 10% back off CRC due to a 10% discount on everything coming out the day after i purchased and gave me the difference back so only paid £1300 for it in the end and got back £1050 for it .so not a great loss really .

I was trying to sell a renthal stem (looked brand new) for 50 quid and a fiver for postage. Put on the ad that buyer had to pay the fees
had some nob message me saying would I do 50 posted
so I said yes, 50 quid paypal gift or pay the fees
he was adamant that it should be ME covering the fees. Fuck off. It's for his benefit, not mine. The fees worked out at like £1.12 or some shit and he still refused to pay it
told him to fuck off in the end and sold it for 55 quid the next day

He's a little bit arrogant, and a bit pretentious!... An over priced mountain bike salesman on Facebook. He offered me £700 for my Cotic...
