Hello guys, Im just curious to whos been to FoD. I may be going there this Saturday. depending on weather etc. Any advice on which trails to do? XC or DH (aslong as there not too technical) Personal comparisons between the blue and red routes? What are the trails like to ride etc. Sorry for all the questions ive just never been before. And ill be heading there on my own  I may not be going yet but just curious. Thanks guys Phil |

I went there Feb last year. Was a good ride, although i had started out back then so potentially didn't enjoy it as much as i could have. Did the blue run and that knackered me (poor fitness). Red run i remember had a lot of switchback climbing.
I'm off there on Wednesday as I'm on holiday with the Mrs and have been given a day to go riding.

Went there last weekend for the first time .. Did the blue on Verderers ..
Was bloody great fun, big climbs so be ready to be knackered afterwards. Also ensure you take a full change of clothes, underwear included! Was really really really wet !
Only managed a single run as I got there late and the light died on us .. But was fantastic.. Will be going again over the xmas period for sure.

Scrap the trail and do the DH runs they are awesome with no unavoidable features if you didn't want to try the drops or road gaps, just flat out fun all day
till you smash your collar bone like I did, most are there on trail bikes

Not been yet the place is on my list to ride  will have to sort a meet out there  As for the DH run nar I'll give that a miss ..  |

In honesty mate from what I've watched/heard some of the DH runs aren't that bad and as Nelly said, the big stuff is avoidable !

I was underwhelmed. The trails aren't very good but the downhills are a lot of fun.
