Right guys frames arrived an I'm after ordering a hope mix and match headset off crc am I right in thinking I would need the h traditional ec44/40 for the bottom and the zs44/30 integral for the top . Didn't realise choosing parts was gonna be so tricky .
Thanks everyone.

Don't hold me to this but I think you'll need an EC44/40 for the bottom and a ZS44/28.6 for the top!
If you're interested, I have a hope headset fitted to my frame which I'll be removing very soon If you want to buy it??

I fancied a new bike liked my current mega but wanted to get myself something that's going to last me a few years while I am in the position to money wise so as I liked the look of the new mega I thought why not build it and put on good quality stuff and try make it a bit of a better bike to pedal around than my current one .
I am fairly fit done a couple of enduros this year and am out every weekend plus I have a physical job could always be fitter though

Depends if your frame is post mount or I/S mount and what size rotors you want to run, hope do a whole range of adaptors Here

How do you find XX1 with a 30t chainring? The 30t is great for me not too far away from my 2x10 on the climbs a touch harder but not much and I didn't spin out anywhere I dare say I could of maybe got away with a 32 but will see how it goes

I've bought a 36t and beginning to wonder if maybe I've bitten off more than I can chew.. Like you, I'll see how it goes.
