went to dalbeattie for first time ever today and was planning on doing the red and soon as i put the bike together (wheels on) my dropper wouldn't go up . i checked the pressure and max pressure says 250psi and it was on max on my pump which is 300psi so fuck knows what pressure that was in it . anyway put 240 psi in and it wasn't budging for anyone , it was working before i left home as i had to put it down to put it in the car . so i had to do the blue 3 times to get any enjoyment out of the wasted journey and there was no way i was doing the red without a dropper for my first time and without pads of any kind . the piss take was when i got home about an hour ago got the bike out of the car and now it fucking works ..what a piss take . anybody have any idea why it did this ?

Mine did that, left house fine, got to trail wouldn't go up, mine was a seal leaking air warranty job though so your not having that problem with your pressure being high, I would guess you've bent/damaged something loading it in and out car?

I haven't got a clue I'm thinking there is maybe an air bubble in there somewhere and needs a bleed cus it's happened twice as it happened at mabie last time I was out on the bike .it was going up sluggish and then worked after I sat on it and played with it for a bit .today got it out the car and was slugish again but then it wouldn't go back up .got to be something to do with having the bike lay flat in the car maybe.I've checked all cables and no kinks anaywhere .I did noticed when it ddidn't go up today there was bubbles coming put the finger plunger .it's holding air fine but feck me the air pressure was above 300psi.

When mine did that the seals had leaked some air into the wrong chamber or something along those lines... Can you tell I don't know much about this sort of stuff? My mechanic had to strip the dropper and rebuild it with some new seals and now it's running sweet!
Basically it started being a bit sticky going up and down and then there were times when it stuck down when I wanted to go uphill. When it was pretending to work and was up it felt like it had a bit of instability in it, almost like it had a touch of suspension of it's own... And that was due to the leaked air being in wrong place!
