Shes in love with this frame but will it be too much for hr to spend such a high amount . i have most of the parts , i.e wheels , cassette ,brakes , seatpost , 2x stem , 2x handlebars , 3x10 crank, My XT clutch rear mech my 2 x XT shifters and my Front mech will all be available too when i upgrade to 1x11 XTR around February . I also have a reverb that would fit . she would then get her own seat and grips . all i need for this is forks , head set , and patience putting it together . and with the sale of her mondraker for around £450 this would then cover the cost of the forks headset and bottom bracket .  it a GRAND for the frame ! |

Was she not going to do DH? yes and no .she needs lessons first and a semi down hiller first . she would do it but then bottle it on jumps ramps . so this kind of bike would do her for a couple of years to gain confidence . she just likes the idea of it gaz . |

He stocks Commencal and is usually happy to do a deal that he isn't allowed to advertise online. He ships UK wide but he has recently been stung by some scum ordering bikes with fake credit cards so he is looking at improved security so not sure if he is still shipping at the mo. I didn't realise that the retailer has very little come back on fraudulant purchases.

You may have a fight getting a 3x on an SX frame, I think they are designed for 2x at the most.

works out at £1850 with conversion rate and then delivery .I would end up buying second hand forks if i went the frame route .but it's all an idea at the moment .might come down more from CRC and there discounts after Xmas .but I will keep an eye on the full bikes though ..She does like that pink meta and would be good being 160 travel . |
