Im upgrading to XTR 1x11 in new year and found out yesterday that my M785 brakes on my cube will not be compatible for the new XTR I-spec II shifter as my brakes are i-spec b . (1 clamp for both just like sram and avids MX )
Im only going by 1 review on the CRC website as cant find anything online regarding compatibility issues . so therefore i would need to buy the 2015 XTR brake lever ,or 2 to match each side .
or if anybody else knows anything .

doesn't the XTR have a crap range of gears? according to reviews not much in it 5-10%. 11/40 against sram 10/42 .i would just use a 30T upfront rather that a 34T . and its way cheaper than XX1 . hoping they bring out a 11 speed XT cassette though like Sram did with there X1 cassettes . |

I prefer the XTR rear mech but also prefer the XX1 cranks.
Can I mix n match like that?
I was planning on a 36t front ring and Shiamno's 11-40 on the rear.

I'm the same, not keen on the XTR cranks.
Think I may well go Shimano on the rear and SRAM cranks.
I'll have a look around at other cranks first though. Always takes me ages to find cranks I like.

I like the race face atlas in red or kash gold . at £200 though might as well go for XX1 or XO1 crank . |
