Have a look at the 9zero7 Whiteout frame! Very close second for me, just the price put me off!

Yeah the XX1 is a little cheeky!... I can't warrant that much on a bike I'll potentially dis-like.. And Chuck over Mam-tor when I can't get up it!..

Value for money and looks wise, I don't think the Tusker can be easily beat..
Not until On One make a carbon Fatty.

Hahaha, he'll snap 'em up!
I'll be opting for a Tusker I think but I'll wait until I can spec it myself!
The Tusker 2 spec is great but the 11 speed puts me off a bit. I'm thinking of SRAM XX1 for the Mega and having two bikes with £150 cassettes on will kill me when they need changing.
I'd like to spec a Tusker with XT or something with XT cranks too.
The TRS cranks on the Tusker 2 have a 30mm spindle and finding a bottom bracket for them that is any good is hard work. I've got them on my 456 and I bought what, reviews wise, is the best BB for them and even that creaks and annoys the shite out of me!

Yeah I must admit I do prefer my Shimano gear... But at least all the spec is decent, they haven't sold off a frame with shitty components...

No, not at all.
It's a great spec for the price. If I wasn't thinking along the lines of 11 speed for the Mega, I'd probably order a Tusker 2.

I'm doubting the brakes in particular... But I've some Hope tech M4's, to go on if And obviously I can lace the 10 speed Hope hubs in, for a 1x10 shimano set up... I'll research the bb's, reviews say the crankset is very good, but perhaps they aren't 16stone!.. Can't see any ck or hope fatty bb's to upgrade too ... But I can get the spare bearings for the standard bb if required...

But I can get the spare bearings for the standard bb if required... The crankset is brilliant. Not one word of complaint from me! I had the same trouble with the BB. I really wanted a Chris King one but, as you say, they don't make one. Looked everywhere for a good one but could only find cheap nasty things made of cheese that had really bad reviews. I ended up buying one made by Rotor! The reviews, although not great, were the best I could find. When the time comes, I'll either keep this BB and just replace the bearings or switch back to Shimano cranks! Any idea what BB is on the Tusker?
