After some new gloves. I already have some super thick, waterproof/windproof winter gloves, just after some general riding gloves. At the moment I'm riding semi- DH stuff so jumps and stuff are being done so anything with some decent palm support I like the look of these 2: www.chainreactioncycles.com/troy-lee-designs-air-glove-2015/rp-prod110680www.chainreactioncycles.com/royal-victory-gloves-2014/rp-prod111881I had the Fox Unabombers which fell apart after a year or so, the Royal ones seem to be almost the same but have better reviews. IMO if I get a year out of gloves that's a good thing as I wear them all the time. Any one else got any other suggestions? preferably under £25 there or thereabouts.

hahah same! although I think i'll play it safe and go for black. Most of my kit is black. Apart from my 5-10's have yellow laces so might go nicely with the green ones

Only slightly off topic. I got a heads up that ten were having a sale and needing a pair of MTB gloves I took a punt on these: www.tenn-outdoors.co.uk/rage-full-finger-glove-blackcyan-smlFor £3.99 I'm pretty pleased with them so today I've ordered another pair as spare. No serious protection on the back but ok for light MTBing and summer road use.

Next pair for me are Royals me thinks. I'm loving their kit right now. They are tidy looking tbf but the TLD ones look sold and have consistently great reviews.

Whatever you do dont buy endura, nice fit but totally lame weedy stitching, i recently tried on some Madison gloves that i reckon i'll buy next, alpine bikes sell em, although their website is quite shite, the shops have a much better range than the website and it also depends which branch you go to

Have 2 pairs, an Altura thermal pair for when the weather is being a right bastard and giving me cold hands, and a pair of Troy Lee's. I can't remember what model they are, but all I can tell you is they were white, they're now grey and they're the most comfortable, grippy gloves I've worm.

Cheers Kev, I did actually look at them but don't really know much about the brand, they look similar to the Royals and the Fox Unabombers. Just got some Unabombers - really like em! I really liked mine, I caned them for over a year and they were very comfy. However they seem a little bit more expensive for some reason.

Yes, pricey but got mine on offer from Leisurelakes. Great feeling glove though, just the right amount of protection in the right places (I am a serial tree clipper, my outside fingers usually resemble slices of pizza)

If I had a matching Jersey I would probs go for some 'loud' ones. plus if you're lying in a crumpled heap following a huge off, pink gloves would be easily spotted by a dog walker or stray cottaging gentleman lol!
