How can anyone say what is right or wrong (or enduro - whatever that means) What's right is what suits you. Exactly ^^^^^ Bollocks to working out ratios and all that shite. Just get on ya bike and ride it.

Too much yamyam in this thread ... Stick to 2x10... 26/38 chainrings 11-36 at back.. All you really really ever need... Or for #enduro look 32front 11-40back ..again all you ever need, i'm not the most fit but did w2+skyline shared climb in this setup but you spin out in the flats and say sayonara to your riding buddies. Being 'enduro' has nowt to do with it tbf. I hated 2x10 because I was used to my DH bike. Never knew which gear to be in when I had 2x10!!! 30T front and 11-36T at the back is pretty much the same as 32T front and 11-40 back. I wouldnt waste money buying a 40T when I could just use a normal cassette

I dont think I will ever sell it. sentimentally attached to it lol.
When the time comes to get a TR500, I am going to split the TR450 but keep the frame!

I love that TR450.. Being morning, I'm already nursing a semi, the bike hasn't helped.. Have you seen the TR500? Yeah I have seen it mate. I want one but I need a trail bike first. Plus there's absolutely nowt wrong with my TR450. Just had bearings replaced and had new cranks put on so its running spot on. Suspension feels fine but will be sent off for another service after the winter

Here is my TR450 and my Covert. Had to sell the Covert at the start of the year to free up some coin unfortunately. Still have the TR450, however it now has a burgtec 40mm stem and the shitty sprung loaded Ti spring has been taken off and replaced with a normal steel one. Will be purchasing a stendec spring soon to lighten the bike up again. Spent an absolute fortune on the DH bike since I got it (April 2012).

Surely it takes more than 1 day to sort the bikes out and ship them?
So they should have known around a week ago that it was going to be delayed!!!

first of all, how can they see that? (EDIT, I suppose if you held a proper straight ruler next to it, you might be able to tell, but my second comment still stands)
secondly, if you hit it with as much impact as they claim, I think you would have snapped it

Anyone gone from 1x10 to 1x11??
I managed fine with 1x10 on my covert with a 30T upfront (or might have been at 28T) and an 11-36T cassette
saw that everyone is ranting and raving about 11 speed and 42T cassettes and all that sh1te. is it worth it?
