Pretty straight forward...
Me = I want to enter a few races and hopefully place pretty well. I also want to travel the country more and sample the riding in different corners of the country,
I'd like to do a bit more jumping and also get more bike fit.
I'm also thinking of flogging my Vectra and buying a nicely kitted out Vito or Caddy.
Snowdon is a definite for 2015 as is a few days long trip to Scotland.
I'd like to meet up with the Northern chapter and explore the gorgeous Northumberland.
Make more MTB mates to join me on these adventures.
Easy..

No big crashing, had my follow up x-ray last week and my collar bone is still in 5 pieces, just the 6 screws and plate holding everything in position still, the riding of my roadie 1 week after surgery and MTB 4/5 weeks after probably haven't helped and neither will having a 3 year old and a 3 month old but oh well.
Not embarrass myself in the races I'm entering
Don't sell my bike!! In 18 months I've had my meta, the supreme and now the mega, need to keep this one and finish some tattoos instead

My aims are to work on my fittness and strength over the winter while still get in as many miles on the bike as I can, for the year I want to crack at least a thousand miles and have a respectable time from top to bottom at Fort william, if I get a season ticket then i'll be heading up at least once a month.

Ive mentioned it on here before, to do my first ever race and get through it in one piece so i'll need to practice the steep n tight stuff more around the Tweed Valley cos those race organisers can be right bastards, not really bothered about racking up thousands of miles i just want to work on my technical ability

I want to enter a few Enduro's this year. 2014 has been a good year for me, I've done pretty much everywhere to ride within 2:30 hrs of Wolverhampton so this year we need to venture further afield.
I quite fancy getting a full face and doing Peaty's Steel City Downhill, it looks fun and no Downhill bike required!
Away from Mountain bikes, I'd like to enter a few road sportives but get my fitness up first. Last year I did a few 75 milers and a 100 mile ride, the latter I didn't enjoy for the last few hours! Maybe my £200 road bike didn't help things as it weighs a ton and has a tiny 8 speed cassette!

Continue regular Saturday rides Get back into regular Wednesday night rides despite the weather ... Off bike ..continue twice weekly badminton Get blood sugar levels back down ( type 2 Diabetic) Lose a stone ..or try to get under 14 stone ( currently 14. 9 ) Avoid injury / stay alive ! ...oh yeah ...almost forgot ..do a skills course with my other ancient bike buddies ..cos your never too old to learn
