I'll go against the trend and say I'd like to put weight on... Dead easy ...pack the fags in ! I used to eat the bloody things ..packed in 11 years ago at my sons christening ( being an older dad I decided I wanted to be around a lot longer to see him grow up !) ..just handed my packet over the bar at the pub where we were celebrating ..and haven't had one since .. You will inevitably eat more and the weight will pile on ....i gained 2 stone plus over this period ..even though I am currently more active than I was then ..I haven't nudged over the 15 stone mark ever ..but have been mighty close ! I have given up smoking... Well, almost! I have a fag now and then, maybe 5 a week or something. I do eat slightly more but, I've always been a big eater.. Still no weight gain! I think I've tried just about everything but can never get above 70kg.

God ..I wish I had that kind of self control ..if I knew in my own mind that I could only smoke 5 a week ..I would probably still be smoking now ..all or nothing for me though ..if I had just one I know I would be hooked again I have said though given the chance ..I would like to have a last one on my death bed ..before popping my clogs !

Thing is (when they work) I bloody love them - a great bit of kit. Just think me and droppers are doomed.

I probably will get something other than RS in the end. To say my experience of RS droppers has been soured is a bit of an understatement. Great day today mate BTW, mud and all - what happened at the end? I thought you were behind me for a mile back to town and looked behind to see you weren't! Was gonna get you one in Spoons, too

I showed Phil and Andy the way back up to Marquis! Ant and the others set off back up the hill to MD at the same time you left, even though Phil washed his bike and Andy was chatting to a 5 owner at Swinnos, we still overtook them on the hill On the way back home, my legs gave in.. Was going along the cut at about 3mph haha. Don't worry about the pint. You'll just be in the chair for two next time On the seatpost. If Germany send you a new one, I'd sell that, buy the NP one and still have a few quid spare..

just to add to the dropper post discussion. iv had my gravity dropper (USA brand) and one of the original dropper posts for about 4 or 5 years. still going strong. simple mechanical device, easy to maintain and every single component is replaceable.ok not as smooth as the hydraulic ones but its very reliable. its either fully up or fully down but that's how i'd want it anyway. iv recently bought an ice v8 to fit to my on-one (when it arrives) which looks like it works in a similar way.if its anyay near as good as the grav dropper i'll be happy. my giant switch dropper has gone in the bin after approx. 3 years due to too much sideways play.

To actually ride my bike Not been out for months :-( :-( Why? work 10-14 hours a day and have lost my mojo, no one to ride with, and ride like a wanker when it becomes tricky.
