One new track starts from the mast (black route) and can be ridden all the way down to Peebles in one go but there are options to cut off along the way, it would be a helluva track to do in one go, starts off flattish, looks quite a flat trail so i think it will be fast, then cuts onto an existing trail, its one we took Kirky down, the one he didnt film haha, all this can be accessed going up the red route if the black isnt an option, just keep going up the fire road past spooky woods and you get to it eventually Well i did this for the first time today, the new section from the mast has enough twists and turns to make it interesting and some parts could catch you out if your overdoing it.....just one big loop and only took 1 1/2 hrs or so, that's including the boring path back to GT from Peebles Hydro, www.strava.com/activities/292160928/segments/6865912591 From the mast down to the Hydro was just 18 mins 15 secs (i also missed a turn into a new section so could have been a wee bit quicker) so its a nice long downhill with one connecting fire road for a bit from the end of zoom or bust, if i was doing it again i'd do the black up to the mast first to make more of a day of it but all in it was good to see what it takes just doing it this way, it's gonna be part of the EWS race so it'll be interesting to see if the pro's can beat my time hahaha

Best get this on the table now ..I'm really sorry but I'm not going to make this after all . We have just booked a family holiday in a cottage up in Applecross and will be away on those dates (these were the only dates we could book for availability)
On the plus side though I have been able to wangle my bike onto the trip ..and will be able to ride one of my favourite trails ..Applecross to Kenmore ..and back It's singletrack perfection ! Again my apologies ..hope you have a good weekend .

I'm gonna have to look at another weekend for this now . My mate has changed the date that we are going out celebrating his 40th . It now happens to be the 25th July . I'll have to have a look and see what other weekends I can do
