After reading Euan's Glentress thread and seeing the interest in visiting I thought I'd put this up. Does anyone fancy a weekend at the end of May ? We can sort camping /b and b arrangements later, just thought I'd see how many are up for it

With the possibility of a trip further North still on the cards( 2/3 June ) ...I wouldn't be able to wangle the weekend before ..
I could probably make it up for one of the days ( only 1hr 20mins travelling time ) ..

Probably best looking at another weekend then Ok guys the date Hodgy suggested should be ruled out since i'm probably marshalling at the EWS and i don't want to miss out riding with you chaps so what date suits, there's already a weekend arranged up here mtb-uk.co.uk/thread/969/scottish-tripjumping aboard that could be an option, it's also easter/spring so conditions should be tip top What's your opinions guys ? |

I have just checked and April 3rd is Good Friday and the 6th is Easter Monday ...a bank holiday weekend ..which could rule me out ..we'll see
Nelly mentioned meeting up on this weekend for a ride and a couple of beers ..
Just a reminder that should you have to drive..3/4 of a pint in Scotland could now put you over the limit !

One of my favourite places in the UK is Kippford ..and an alfresco bar meal at the Anchor on a warm summer evening is just fantastic
Are you there biking ..or as a family holiday ..or a bit of both ?
