Some roadie intervals, and the pumptrack/skatepark with a foam pit tomorrow to try and learn one of the drop ins at 2.49, but from standing. The plan is to do that off the top of a trig point to start a video I'll be filming soon. Could look decent, could look terrible; I'm really not sure. www.pinkbike.com/video/287017/Then to the Wrekin for some runs with #alltheweapons Sunday. Prepare for some split balls and broken ass bone Yeh, I'm half expecting that. Hopefully I'll get it done clean though.

Suppose that's the curse of living close to a decent enough trail center, hard to justify a few hours in the car anywhere. I always think how nice it would be to have a decent loop on my doorstep but at least being hours away from anywhere means that it doesn't really matter where I go, in the car between 1 and 3 hours wherever I want to be. Means that last 18 months I rode; Pines, Greno, Wharny, Rasen, Cannock, Gisburn, Hammers, Forest of Dean, Cwmcarn, Bike Park wales, Penmachno, Snowdon So far this year its been Cannock, Wharncliffe, Next week Hammers/FOD then Bike park wales mid Feb, two places I need to go this year are Antur and Revolution and hopefully I will start exploring the peaks a bit this year. Love the variation that living in a shit hole gives me Out of all the locations however I would love to have Hamsterley on my doorstep Also need to try Scotland on a few weekend trips as im missing out on probably the best riding the UK has to offer Good post that tbf. Blokes at work (Derby) take the piss out of me but I can RIDE up to the start of the Donkey in 3 miles. Why the feck would I want to drive anywhere? especially this weather? I go to different places in the summer but even then, once the off piste dries up at Cannock - why bother? I reckon I haven't even touched 50% of what's at Cannock yet. Why would you..... Because without being rude cannock is very boring compared to other places lol, however I have only ever done the main loops

Cant wait to get up to the lakes and Scotland ..

Nelly the natural stuff at Cannock pisses all over the marked trails, once you know where to find it. There is still loads out there I haven't ridden yet. Until I have done all that I'll keep exploring Cannock this summer. Just a shame it's all pretty much a bog right now.

Don't blame you Gaz, orrible out there just doing a bit on the gay walker today, out with old mates tomorrow, T.S.O, every one of them a super fit whippet. That'll be a good test. Good news is I've dropped 4 pounds since Crimbo, onwards and upwards.

Never really bothered with Strava but wouldn't have been out half as much if I hadn't signed up to the climbing challenge. Did my last 1500 feet in a blizzard on Wednesday night. It's a lot tougher than I though it was going to be. Good luck with your last 2000 ft

set of from main car park into wharny,i`ve only been twice so not sure of dh names but I know we go down diamond back and did a couple of other dh and push ups.then we go over wharny crags and end up on main road,do about a mile and then into greno woods and do the run that peaty used last year for his steel city mini downhill ,the one that finishes in the bomb hole/peatys drop.
