lee quarry is definately not worth the journey on its own.
I would also question if Gisburn is even if it got voted best trail centre in England. However a day combining both or gisburn with some local natural trails is.

Now they've built some technical link sections like bumpy road it feels like fire roads are minimal so you get technical footy rocky sections mixed with a few fun down hill bits, rock gardens, berry bits, with the hope line berms, jumps and drops. There are some down hill lines with gap jumps and bigger drops but I prefer the hope line at the moment to those.

No bottle for that , still learning to ride a Mtb

I didn`t take the piss out of anyone for anything Much.. same line up but with young dunc the trail whippet replacing me,roundie`s still got a mouthful of haribo`s. 20150228_125510 by firebrace, on Flickr Hahahahahaha.. Roundie looks speshul here lol That's quite possibly one of the best pictures of me, think I'll print it off and frame it for the wife. Quality day yesterday, really enjoyed the downs and pisstaking, roll on next time. My aside is killing me today but apart from that I'm ok.

You do feel like you are getting out into the wilderness a bit.

apart from my front wheel washout that had me trying to climb a tree while hanging onto the bike I knew I`d had a close shave with a tree stump on the second descent of the north loop.i`ve just cleaned the bike and ive been pulling tree bark out of the left hand pedal, must`ve been a lot closer than I realised

I think so mate but that just me would like to do some off pista up there good climbing and DH's as well There is a cracking route on your way in to Keswick ..just off the A66 starting in Threlkeld and up to Skiddaw House ..around the Caldbeck Fells.. up to Whitewater Dash waterfall ( bitch of a climb which no one that I know has cleared ) then back to Skiddaw House to drop down to Keswick by the side of Lonscale Fell ( shit scary in places) in the shadow of Skiddaw mountain itself to pick up what used to be a railway line for a pleasant pootle back up to Threlkeld ..it's a classic ! This is the ride I did today,a quality little route. Has a bit of every thing, and some techie rock slabs on the side on Lonscale Fell. The return on the railway track is long though, shame you can't link it another way. thanks for for the ride at Whinlatter everyone had a quality day out, and way really good to meet you guys. Hope to get out again with you lot soon.

Glad you all had fun boys. Jay was telling me yesterday how he thought it was even better than 'Degla - so it must be some place.
