I think I'd point it out; but saying that i bought two bottles of rioja from morrisons today at £9 a bottle + some little bits, so when it came to £12 I thought f@#%in ace dont smile to much and just shuffle out of here, but when I looked at the bill the wine was on offer, if you cant understand what i've put its money well spent!!!!

Point it out as I assume it was a fair bit of money you spent on Sunday lunch even though you're northern. I'm guessing you gave it back.............even though you're northern.

I only pretend to be a tight arse for comedy reasons but as much as i like a bargain i wouldn't like to tnink that someone could have been accusrd of having their hands in the till just so i could have blagged a free meal for the four of us.

That's fair enough As someone who has been on both sides of that ..I got great satisfaction and a nice warm glow from pointing out the mistake to a kid in a retail store especially as I was told that it would come out of his wages ... And I was a complete donkey a couple of years back heading down to the Peaks. Stopping off at Woodall Services for a loo break ..I left my wallet sitting on top of the loo roll holder and didn't realise until meeting up with everyone at the Ladybower Inn ..a frantic phone call back to them confirmed that it had been handed in with the £ 150.00 cash +credit & debit cards intact my mate covered me until picking it up on the way back from the trip . The guy who found it left his mobi number and I called him a few times ( unsuccessfully ..and eventually leaving a message) to offer him a reward ...he could have cleaned my account ..but he never did return the call . I'm a great believer in what goes around comes around ...

Karma. Do the right thing & point it out.
Do the wrong thing & bad things will happen to you ...

I wouldn't think twice. I'd call the bloke over, give him the money back. Treat others etc....

I was collecting a prescription which I have to pay for, 2 bloody items, didn't pay when they took the script then just handed me the bag. To which I replied I haven't paid yet. Does this mean good things will happen to me or was it just daft.
