Well I did the calculation and as it happens I run my tyres exactly as the calculator says they should be (gold star for me). Goo on, give it a goo and see if you've been over/under inflating. iRideabike need not bother - it doesn't go to minus pressures! Tyre Pressure calculator

Slightly under inflated on the front at 30psi..but then this is tubeless ...while the rear has a tube in and I based the calc. on running tubes ( so probably about right ) 1psi over on the rear ..I can live with that , I think ..can't I ..maybe not ..shit what do I do here ..to change or not to change that is the question ..what's OCD again ?

Says 32 front and 35 rear... I was usually running 35 both but upped to 50 front and 45 rear last week to see what would happen. I wiped the front out and faceplanted, I will be returning to 35ish front and rear the next time im out haha

I'm running slightly over inflated but due to road sections in my local loop. Pure trail stuff I am fairly close

Hodgy, what you need is a batman utility trail belt like mine with one of these in the front pouch With one of these, you will never be able to blame pressures again for your latest face plant.

I run a moderate squeeze on the front and a firm squeeze for the rear, have no idea on psi This 100%, couldn't care less what psi is in there as long as it feels right

Front is set so its soft but not so soft that i get snake bites. Had that a few times, but now know how it roughly feels when right
Rear is a little harder.
Have faffed about having the tyres rock solid when i leave my house and then letting air out when i get to the trails but cbf with pumping them up all the time so just keep them low and endure the rolling resistance!

Real men can tell with their fingers, I use that rule for more than just tyres!

To be honest I only use a gauge when changing tyres as there is one on my track pump..for flatties on the trail it's purely by touch

Pretty spot on, 25 psi up front and 27 psi up rear for our slippery Lake District tech!
Love a bit of OCD... Check before most, if not every ride, and adjust accordingly!

First run down the north loop descent felt a bit sketchy on the front so on the second time round i let 5 seconds worth of air out and it was perfect. How many psi i started or finished with i've no idea

I have just realised that I have not taken into account my kit when working this out ...so if you throw into the equation the weight of helmet ,boots , backpack ,2l of water etc that adds quite a bit of weight / psi In the case of Lowcogger and his backpack ..probably needs to run 75 front and 95 rear! Hahaha
