Andy I think the early start was to accommodate Jay who is on nights tomorrow so needs to get back earlyish. No way you can put off what you have to do? Mrs on earlies , I've got the dog to see to and rush hour traffic is bad around here. I don't want to do Jay out of a ride though so I'll either cope with it or be prepared drop out of this one.
For the avoidance of doubt: Sorry to cause confusion. Please keep whatever arrangements you have already fixed.

Ta Gaz, for the time being I'll leave the timing as it is as Jay's work must take priority over a plonker like me. I'll try to manage the earlier time but lets see what Glynn decides.

yaaaaaaaawn!......stretch.....nom, nom,nom,nom!......just got up. yeah, early start, for jay and I think ste's also working that night so its a 9.00am meet time. there might be enough room on the parking bay thingys at that time outside ladybower fisheries,if not we can meet in the heatherdene car park which is pay & display so you might need some change for the m/c. its jay and ste's call regarding the meet time assuming no mechanicals and we ride at an average speed with stops for chat, food and catching breath it'll be around 3 and half hours

I spoke to jay who could have delayed a bit but it's up to me to fit in. Keep your current timings.
My plan is to get Mrs W out of bed earlier still, not feed the dog tonight, leave her to cross her legs all day and drive like a looney. I might just do it!

that'll be for another ride to incorporate the beast and the telegragh descent as requested the route will be something like- start at heatherdene car park or on street parking bays.then around win hill up to wooller knoll, cheeky descent then up hope drop-in.along roman road ,down THE BEAST :oup rowlee, lockerbrook, suicide brake, fairholmes for refreshments if needed, flagstone challenge, whinny lee tor, TELEGRAGH DESCENT back to start. approx. 17 miles so not a long ride but good content and back in good time for jay.
This ride sounds ace. I don't know any of it but the names just sound good Telegraph descent that big bloody hill that you ride up the road to it ...

I may nobly and totally selflessy offer to drop out of this in favour of Andy. It has absolutely nothing to do with the 5 pints I've just had and the Chinese ordered for later. It's just the kind of guy I am.
Actually no, bollocks to that - just remembered I've already bought mine and Jay's pieces for the day. Soz Andy!!

Co-op meal deals! BLT for yow, Chucky and bacon for me and then you can choose what you want - either S&V or Smokey bacon crips and Orange or passion fruit and summat else Lucozade sport drinks. Plus, as I ain't as cheap as yow I've also got a couple of boxes of flapjack bites and chocolate muffin bites.
