Gaz, I'm a long way off being able to complete rides like that, yesterday was about my limit. Something to aim for though.

It was a good ride made even better by the gorgeous weather. I said to Gaz earlier that I'd love to do a similar route but maybe a bit longer when we're all available and not constricted by time! Thanks Glyn for an amazing route, you're a star. To top it all off.............No pictures of me having a piss  I'd love to but I have to get seriously lighter and fitter. I coped (just) with the downs yesterday but the ups I was a serious weak link and I don't like that, hurts my pride a bit. Got to hit the trails a bit more and sharpen my lifestyle up a bit. But the thing is you did it, you got up, got ready, and went and did it, be proud of yourself for that! I have major respect for riders who get off there sofa's and go out there and try, It's the people who sit at home with 4-5k bike's dreaming of doing stuff but are to scared to attempt it i feel sorry for as they'll never know what they're missing out on |

I'm really glad I did too Macky - eye opener, trail centers are great but nothing can touch what I saw and experienced yesterday.

Cannock's pretty good because I live 2 miles from the start of the Dog and I can ride to it in 15 minutes - and it has pubs  It's always going to be my playground but it will forever feel flat from now on. |

Cardiac and lung buster, in comparison to flagstone challenge or any other of the rocky, rutty steep as feck climbs we did yesterday, will never bother me again. Mere taradiddles!
