The forecast is looking good at the moment with Wednesday overcast but not wet, Thursday and Friday seem to be brighter. surely they cant get it so wrong.
So I have confirmed a 10am meeting in Hawick already, its 2.50hr drive there, hopefully Ill be done in 45 minutes so arrive GT around 11.30/45 quick sandwhich and away we go. Euan I will PM me your mobile. Should I just head for the Glentress Peel car park.

It was up down up down up down as we just made up our own route rather than just stick to one official trail, tried to mix it up a bit for Kirky, top day and to top it off the sun was as hot as the riding. :-)

Sounds great Chopper - can't beat a bit of local knowledge - it's great to ride with blokes like you, Glynnsixo and iRide who know their area well. Can't buy that knowledge!

In a little over a months time we will have a whole load of new trails for people to try Aye folks the forestry guys are busying away choppin n diggin for the EWS end of may, we could see fresh new trails amongst the trees, i'm gonna lend a hand this Sat as a bit of payback for supplying this old git with some of the best playgrounds in the whole of the british isles, can't wait till it kicks off, taken a weeks holiday to help out,taping the course etc and marshalling on both days of the race, love the vibe, hope Jerome Clements doesn't injure himself again, missed seeing him in the flesh blasting by me last year, i tell you what those top pro's really are something else on thier bikes, so smooth and in control, if you get a chance you should get up here to see them for yourself |
