That puddle was about 2 feet deep with 2 feet of black smelly slime under the water.
Although I got no sympathy I didn't hurt myself.
I even picked up a few little red leech like things.
They took up residence in my Y-fronts but the little bastards are now screaming for mercy from the washing machine.

Looks like a good clear day ..was it brass monkey weather at the top? yes it was cold hodgy, not only at the top but each time we stopped we tried to pick somewhere out of the breeze. |

Having looked at the photos Mrs W is well impressed with our luxurious boudoir and now understands why I come home stinking worse than a very smelly polecat. PS. Never mind me falling in shit on a regular basis, another pattern has emerged. Someone who shall remain nameless can't remember bring the correct shoes to wear on an MTB. We should thread them on a string through his trousers in the manner of a toddlers mitts so he can't loose or forget them.  |

As much as I enjoyed this trip,I'm kinda wishing I'd stayed at home now because It's going to end up costing me a fortune! Firstly, I'm looking for a new helmet that I can wear on a permanent basis to help prevent the headaches I keep getting.. Secondly, I'm off to see how much it'll cost me to get rid of my Vectra and buy a pick-up  |

All I can say is, to anyone putting off one of these forum rides because they don't know anyone stop being a fanny and get on it, I'm still chuckling now about the whole thing, some awesome personalities. Feeing a bit rough now after doing today after 10 beers but looking back I enjoyed it all, even penmachno and the heaviest rain I've ever witnessed

As much as I enjoyed this trip,I'm kinda wishing I'd stayed at home now because It's going to end up costing me a fortune!
