Cheers for that.
How long was the climb up for you guys, likewise for the fun stuff coming back down?

about 3 hours up, half an hour at the top and about one and half hours down but that's taking yer time with plenty of stops. If you go for it, it could be done in about half that time. but with views like today you'd want to take it all in

Great pics Jay - you have a talent (only the one mind). Particularly love the ones of Gaz doing his 'heroic' look on that stop by the railway He only needed to be gazing into the distance just a little more steely eyed and he'd make it as a catalogue man, I reckon

Never used the Goo Pro for stills though and had it angled wrong on a lot of the pics.

Ok, my paltry efforts. Never been much of a picture taker, in fact I even left the camera and go pro at base camp barn as I was wary of being the weak link and didn't want to weigh myself down anymore, so just a couple of snaps from the Samsung SIII. Stunning views, stunningly clear weather. Munky, Nelly and iRide having a minute nearing the summit Gaz (is he ever off the camera?), Notsarky and the hero of the day - Ackers. Couple of falls, claret spilt but the man refused to be beaten, bloody well done Ackers and I think we helped each other out as back markers. Proud of us for sticking at it. Kind of bloke I'd want next to me in the trenches. You know who - in the way of the scenery - again!! Me and Mr Motivator - cheers mucka! Finally moi at the summit, shattered but proud with the fun all in front of me. I did win gayest shirt award too, by the way. My local MTB club of which I am a proud member - Team Strap On (TSO) of Cannock Chase!
