What have we all been up to today, something good or mundane. I had a mixed day. I was on the clock with orders of being home for lunch and due to feeling like shit when I woke up I opted for a two hour blast around the best bits of rivington. Ice cream run, shooting kennels descent bck up the most nd finish down San Marino. first time out on the enduro for a while and whilst I grabbed PBS on all of the descents it just wasn't as much fun as the scout and the climbs and flt bits felt like more of a slog, admittedly I just don't think I was feeling it today anyway. the afternoon was spent taking my 5 and 8 year old girls shopping for some sandals and t shirts without the mrs for help

Taught lots of people how to ride bikes better. :-) Group on a Jumps and Drops Course and a private session in the afternoon. Was nice coaching a guy who was carrying some much speed at the end, that I was pretty much riding at my normal pace behind him. Love sessions like that.

Sounds like you are as a good of a coach as you are a rider.

Really do enjoy it and if it makes people enjoy riding bikes more then that's even better.

Well on Friday I stacked it, and I've ended up with some hell of a road rash so my Saturday morning was spent getting some bandages from the doctors before the bike. Then I went to work and have just got back, nice 13hr shift ££££££

If You didn't have such long legs you could have borrowed one of mine If I'd not had to re roof one side of our house I'd still have the crush, gutted I had to sell it. But the house must come first and hopefully I'll get to build something else later

Yesterday we had a great day riding old and new Cannock cheekies - today was meant to be more of the same (I can't find spooky woods on me own - alzheimers I think ) but my riding buddy had to cry off so I'm not going out today. I'll probably be out tomorrow trying to find bloody spooky woods run. Everytime I've been to it with Jay it's been a different route, me and Chris (Eurobob) just couldn't find the start of it yesterday at all.

Yup! Well yeah it's off road rash ? the dirt was so dry and hard and a layer of rock right under the surface gave it the same effect as Tarmac. So annoying as its a piece of trail literally 5 mins from my house that I've rode loads... Just caught me out this time

And while I was in the borders biking ..his mam was at her sisters farm ...our boy was at a birthday party with a difference ..a Bear Ghrylls stop out in the woods ..8 of them ..hats off to Paul & Heidi who's son Sam's party it was for organising and staying with them from midday yesterday until we picked Alex up at 11.00 am . And well done to the local landowner who gave permission for them to be in his private woodland .. Everything went well other than one of the boys embedding an axe in his knee which required 3 stitches ..but that apart ...!! Some pics Well disguised 5* sleeping accommodation Tidying up the site afterwards..funny how the lads made themselves scarce ! L-R Heidi ( Sams mam) & Gilly ( my missus ) ..nearly done ! They all had a great time ..but not much sleep ...he's currently knocking some zzzzzz's out after a nice hot bath !
