... that I have enough spare parts in my flat to build a hardtail. Only thing I'd need is the frame, headset, cockpit and brakes.
Sepc me up boys.
EDIT: Thought I might post up some requirements..
What have I got kit wise?
RockShox Pike RCT3 160mm
CrankBros Iodine 3 650b wheels
10spd XT mech, cassette and shifter
125mm Reverb stealth - 31.6mm
73mm BB with RaceFace cranks.
So guys, I have a budget of about £500 for a frame, headset, bars, stem and grips - I'll pick some brakes up from CRC in the next few days. What's about?
Oh, I'm also 6'6". Yeah.

Was going to say the Zero at 375 quid - but it is only warranted up to a 150mm fork A 160mm HT is going to be mental

Sadly they have no XL frames available, so I'll see what the ETA on them is. You couldn't do me a favour though could you Zulu? Measure the inner diameter of the seat tube? Would quite like it if my reverb would fit.

Cotic BFe275.....that would be my choice. Frame £350 on the cotic site.

I've got a 31.6 KS LEV on the Bird - if that's any help?

I've got a 31.6 KS LEV on the Bird - if that's any help? Fucking perfect. My reverb will slide right in! It may well be the bird if I can get the frame within the next 2 months! Set of cheap brakes, some nice 750mm bars, 50mm stem. Job done.

Just had a look - lovely looking frames but only go up to large (19ins) think with Seb being a lanky git, that's be on the small side. Do like em though. If I was building my own (and wasn't perfectly happy with the Bird) I think I'd probably have a Stanton frame. Always loved them and the deep red they do is sex. 550 quid, frame only is a bit steep though. Still, if I had the dosh.

Yup, this is the issue I'm facing. I'd have already bought a Stanton tonight if they made a size large enough for me :/ But as it is it's likely to be the bird. If they come back saying they can't get any XL frames for a while I'll probably look at selling all my spare kit.

I could of seconded the zero, however if it's too small how about the nukeproof scout, similiar geo. However I'd be checking down the back of the couch to find another £100 pound coins or sell some of your girlfriends belongings and get this. Takes a 150mm fork. The pikes can have the air shaft changed, new ones -£30, or if your not going to run them again you can just cut 10mm off the existing one. Took my lbs half an hour to drop mine. www.stif.co.uk/mtb/product/santa-cruz-chameleon--frame-matte-black-silver/13262Oh extra large available. Oh my.. that's awfully tempting. I replaced the Pikes off my Warden with Fox 36's so they won't be getting run again. Only problem I've found is the seatpost Would mean buying another one :/

I've just edited before you reply with a cheaper seller and a blue option.
There's always somebody on ST wanting to swap a reverb for a different size.

I'm pretty sure that SarkyAdam has a Santa Cruz Chameleon - worth asking him what he thinks of it before you buy Seb?

So the guy that used to own the LBS where I bought my Knolly has told me he can potentially get a discounted Transition TranAM in.. which goes up to XL, only issue I have is the seat post diameter.. but, I'd be happy to give it up and have a singlespeed shredding machine.

Transam is a good hard tail but isn't the fork only recommended at 130mm? Probably still enough, shame to cut the pike so much though.

I should be able to run it at 140mm with no issues hopefully.
I think I'm going to have to compromise if I want a HT bike sadly, my height is creating a lot of restrictions on what's available.

Yeah sorry about that I think it's most likely going to be the TransAM. Single speed set up (going to properly ghetto that) and then hare round the trail centres!

Single speed fair play, I've got one but hardly ever use it now, too hard on the back. It is a rigid as well though.

This is my kind of logic! "I have all the parts I need to build a hardtail in my flat. All I need is a frame, bars, stem, grips, brakes, cables, saddle headset...."
If it were me, I like the Mondraker Vantage or something exotic and steel!
