Yeh it was all a sodden mess. I'll be wearing some different shoes. I rep roofed my jackets and water proof trousers yesterday so hopefully they'll do the job if needed.

All sorted now, appointment moved to next week, confident I should have at least one bike ready to rip. Still need to do the school run from 2.30PM ish but we would have had enough by then and gives the Southerners chance to head back before the traffic gets heavy.

No problem Gaz I can only imagine where your head might be at. Well have plenty have chances again when or hopefully when you are ready let us know and will be glad to arrange again.
Beans I take it your may be in the same boat or not travel up on your own, let us know either way pal.
Just a quick check michael, Glynn and mike are still up for it?

Yeah it was a little moist in places!! Good ride today, enjoyed it even though the weather wasn't that kind. Cheers for showing us around John and Mike. It was good to finally meet you Glynn, must get another ride sorted

Most of the time it was hard rain or sleet so we didn't feel too much like stopping, we had a few mechanicals which we had to stop for and nearly froze to death in the process.
We had some great fun on the descents which were mostly running like rivers. Shame we didn't have more time and had to shortcut the planned route a touch, a summer ride would be good.
