Can we stick to original time if possible chaps, weather doesn't look like it's going to change that much tbh.

Pics or it didn't happen.
It's been blowing a strong one here all day. I think you've been sat around in the cafe all day discussing hot cross bun recipes!
That's what I told myself to make me feel better missing out anyway.

LLOLOOLOLLOLOLOOLLO
I am ashamed I have to admit! It is proper horrible that mudguard! I apologise! But it was supposed to be really raining and really windy! The weather was fine really! I'm so glad we went today!
BUT HOW DO YOU KNOW?!?
Went to Rockguardz who will send me the frame protector...and offered me one of their sexy front mudguards for much considerably cheaper than RRP if I want!? Decisions...
Is there a better trail centre than Llandegla? Because I think this one is awesome...but I don't tend to ride trail centres!?
Funniest part (well, not so much fun but you know what I mean) was a guy on a brand spanking new Porsche Macan (I believe) with two Santa Cruz on the back, reversing straight onto the side of a parked BMW...!? In front of everyone... No clue...

Not least because of their superb burger and chips

Oh yeah, forgot about that place.. Loved it there even though I was on my hardtail! Not been back since due to the distance but would love another visit on my full susser!
Only gripe with Whinlatter is the extortionate amount they charge you to park!!
If you listen to some people you'll never visit a trail centre and if that happens, you miss out. There is some superb riding at trail centres.

Rest of the bike...feckin stunning.
I echo what Beans says too - quite a bit of snobbery goes on about trail centres...they have their place, as do the Peaks/Lakes etc.
Neither is better than the other, per se, it's just down to personal preference.
Me, I love both.

Oh good God...please...do the right thing... Oh Gaz (windy) will be living this bike even more now. trail centres serve a purpose and are fun for sure but you just don't get that same sense of adventure and I don't. They make even more sense in areas where you might find it hard to find some equally good natural stuff or have to travel a distance for it. However Whinlatter always seems like an odd one when it's surrounded by so much good natural stuff.

Can't disagree with a word of that Kirky, like I said though, all down to personal preferences.

The difference being with Whinlatter is that a lot of it has been hewn from the natural rock of the mountain ...it just feels more " natural " than any other trail centre...
I know one guy in our group ( no names mentioned eh Jaco !) who parks at a lay-by along the road ..he's generous to a fault ...just hates parking charges

Aye and saving all those parking charges helped him towards a lovely SC.
Ps glad to see he had a better helmet when we met last weekend.

At least you could have got a better angle on the mudguard?! LOL...no wet bum tho?!?! Did you notice the cables at least?!?! The guy from Rockguardz offered me the option of buying their front carbon one for a better RRP...dont know what to do but i am tempted...i just bought that Mucky Nutz...anyone fancies one half price?
Forgot to say...actually the funniest moment was my mate Mick...complaining all the time about wearing an helmet...we get to the cafe...he takes the helmet on to go to the van and says..."i already feel faster without the helmet..." only to somehow twisting his front wheel in the car park in front of a few people, flying over the handlebars, ripping his jacket and get covered in mud...LOL...now that was funny!? that old saying..."pride comes before a fall"!?...literally!
How much is this parking at Winlatter?
I never tend to do trail centres...this is the second i ever done...Sherwood Pines (which is really boring even with all the off-piste bits) and today...i guess living 3 minutes away from the woods and so close to Ladybower has its downside...i think both natural stuff and trail centres (if they are like this one) are different but equally great.

So you finally convinced him to wear an helmet then? I'm glad, It would be good if all trail centres could insist somehow.
And another fall to add to list of never falls. Lol.
