In case anyone is considering the Burgtec Penthouse's... After today's first ride on them i have to say, they were very grippy! Sometimes a bit too much grip in fact. Get them with Stealth rubber soles and you won't have a problem. As an example, coming down Stanage steps today, which is bouncy to say the least, along with snow and mud, it was fine. Curiously, my knee doesn't hurt as it has been doing...but the proper test on this will be after a 4+ hour ride. I think i made the right move! Thanks guys!

I was starting to get knee ache on the spuds too - I think it's to do with not being able to position your feet exactly where you want them. Glad you like the pedals, I might one day treat myself to a set of Brendogs.
