For those who have been, does the cafe serve nice food? Is it ridiculously priced?
Just wondered if I need to stock up on pasties and pork pies or not!

Is that from starting from the Glyncorrwg start? as I have been told to start from the Afan car park as it avoids the mile long climb. Good pics by the way mate. PS it'll be pissing down...wet rocks and roots are half the fun...

I think that is the general consensus, just about. Hang on, I'll just have a look at my shiny, laminated, trail map again.

Might do, I'll be whipping the map out at every stop and pointing thoughtfully into the distance, like catalogue man Wolfie I wouldn't fancy that climb as the first section, prefer to warm up to that, Afan car park it is then.

PS it'll be pissing down...wet rocks and roots are half the fun... Just to clarify. It doesn't miss out the climb, you just do it later on after lunch. And it's an hour (ish)climb , not a mile Here is my strava from the ride. I'm very slow on the bike at the moment though Check out my 29.2 mi Ride on Strava: app.strava.com/activities/203179061It's the White's level initial climb

I'm just stunned you had your missus laminate the map. I've got a very reputable supplier of laminating stuff and printing stuff right next to me. In future let me know and stop bothering me to make your machine go and I'll get it sorted. Makes me wonder why it needs laminating, what exactly are you doing with it???
