im up for this, as long as work doesn't interfere, knowing well in advance would be good so I can get holidays in if needed. oh and could you lot pick a day that's going to be dry with good views...........ta!  Even though a good bit has been added to this thread by myself and Andy ..this is very much Adam's ride and certainly from my point of view I see myself as an invited guest ..so very much down to when he wants to do it ... |

absolutely...its often the the case with my very unsocial work hours I just have to tag along after others have organised a ride. i'll keep an eye on this.

Well the stars have aligned for three of us this Thursday ....and we have decided to ride this route ahead of the forum ride...just to see how its holding up!
We could have gone anywhere ...but this got the vote ..which might tell you a little bit as to how good it is .
It got my vote because having ridden it three times before ...I dont need any tempting ( I will remember saying that as i am pushing the bike towards The Calf!)
It got Ians vote because he cocked up the return leg to Sedbergh the last time he did this version of it...so he has never completed the ride this way.
Graham has never ridden it but took no persuading ...he has read all the reports!
Hoping for a good day weatherwise ....and I will try to take plenty of pics so you can see what you are in for !

Yes mate , I'll defo be up for it trouble is next months a bit busy ... On the 9th got that whinlatter enduro race , personally I would sooner do this ride than that race .... 24th scotts event in Wales .. Week after I get married ... Bugger ... june is free lol |

June sounds good ..things might be dry and dusty if this weather continues ...but will wait for Adam to decide .
I might even be half fit by then after our Arran trip at the end of May...
