Or maybe better still, just take the wheels off and put both in the back No worries, whatever is convenient for you. I have some big plastic sheets or a piece of carpet...you've seen how i do it on my car!? Ill leave it up to you, just message me time to be ready. Of course, lets share fuel expenses, etc. Will do!

Does it take in sticks pass, doesn't look like it to me, I like the look of the lack of other large climbs after reaching the summit, and that it is more or less down hill or very slight ascent after the summit but I think after climbing up there we deserve a very juicy descent.

i like the idea of riding the whole ridge but i agree with kirky its always good to finish a tough ride with a great descent. whereas with this one, the last leg looks like 10 miles of low level

I've done that route ...the coach road is a great rattle ...but you will be finishing on tarmac ... The route that appeals to most includes Sticks Pass ...

Kirky One or two of the naughty boys (on ST ) were suggesting you use the footpath down Seldom Seen instead of the b/way down Sticks Pass ..it does look good ..but it also says the farmer is getting angry .... There are photos on Geograph....

The bridleway down looks good enough ...

Another alternative ..but you would have to come down Dollywaggon Pike first ( gulp) Decisions , decisions...! Sorry ...just noticed on the original route you will be coming up this from Patterdale then up again on Dolly...

If we get a head count on who's defiantly coming we can work out how technical a route we can take?
