That must be me then? Yes of course we can share. But you'll have to be prepared to hold on tight. I might even get up to 75mph You are such a tease! If I remember last time you got above 90!? Lol Really hope this plan of yours actually happens since it would be a great occasion.

The trick is to eat little and often...doesn't really matter what TBH...it's all calories to burn so you don't lose energy...and water in order not to cramp! But my favourite things are, SIS products, hydro tablet on the bladder, gel at the start, and Clif bars during...then the usual banana, sandwich and sometimes Soreen banana loaf. After ride protein and Glutamine shake when it has been a tough ride!

No, I wish...I've tried to see if the fuckers would swap my meetings for Friday so I could stay for the weekend but nobody wants to travel up there on Fridays! The only other option is Thursday's around 3pm, but it's hard to arrange anything for sure on those days because it depends on how my meetings, site visits (aka how much did they f#%^ed on site), etc go!?

Lolloloolollloloolollooolol....I'll refrain from any abuse on your state of health!? Lol I'm sure Gisburn is great and crazy that I haven't been there yet. If I don't get any other rides organised when I go up to the Lakes, at least I can always go to Whinlatter (even though I wasn't that impressed to be honest!?)...until Sunday I'll decide if I'm doing Gisburn or Jacobs...depending on weather, if I'm bothered to drive that far and how tough I want the ride to be (considering I'll be riding Saturday too)! I'll keep you posted...btw, have you ever done Jacobs? Why don't you come Sunday? It's awesome and a great test for the new rig!? I'm happy to ride in the Lakes with you 'G' as long as you don't stand me up again 23rd Nov, 7th and 14th of Dec, after lunch say 2pm are good days for me Gaz!

Of course they wouldn't mind. I'm in two minds about it...do I go to Gisburn on a Sunday when it will be full, or do I just go and ride with some usual group and do Jacob's? That way I wouldn't hardly have to travel and I could do Gisburn with you another time, hopefully as I'm going up to Cumbria? Seems more logical...ill let you know!?

A work mate invited me to go there on Sunday...apparently there is a group of them going...I'm up for whatever...if you prefer I can meet up and you can show me more stuff, off-piste, etc! Also, I'm off to the lakes on the 23rd, so if you fancy Gisburn after lunch on that day or Whinlatter, let me know! For a year now I'll be going to the lakes mid week, twice a month!

Interested dependent on dates. How about both in the same day? Too much? Maybe too much to be an enjoyable experience...

Yeah I was surprised we didn't ..it's probably the fastest growing sector at the moment .. Dont understand why you keep banging on about them though ..I get that you don't like them ..I think they are fantastic but don't want one .. As far as I'm aware you haven't tried one ..so your opinion counts for nothing until you do .. Mostly to pull ya leg! Ps- I've tried one!

That's the reason why I didn't go with the Float X2...the tuning options are infinite and I'm not sure I would be able to actually get it spot on, specially since it will depend from ride to ride I guess. The Float X already has enough options!? Lol...you could try and check on TFT website who is the expert mechanic on your shock, give him a ring and ask for a setup for your bike. You might be lucky and get it free! Worth a try! Yeah, at first I thought the grips were a bit thin but they actually work really well, much better than the much thicker Rogues I had before...can't go work with the Fabric saddle but I just wonder if the Ergon is even better?!

I am 41.5" chest...but I've tried both L and M at Evans and prefered the M fit...a bit closer to your body. You are defo not XL. I think I will wait for Black Friday or Xmas sale to try and grab a bargain, either on the Gore or MT500.

did it come with those grips? Saddle looks painful...i would like to try the new Ergon saddle too...looks well thought and comfy, maybe even more than the Fabric. Bike looks great.
Is a visit to the quarry worth it?

Are you looking at the elements active gore tex? I would only get a goretex version, just found one for 90£ problem is the largest was large but the gore stuff comes up small an extra large limit is 41" chest. Yup, I'm looking at that one too. But I've tried them at the shop and M is my size...L could also be an option. Where did you see that John?
