Does anyone know if there is a stockist in the uk for the new short cage adaptor, I've got the zee mech and looking at going to an extender but would prefer to make sure it's right first time.
If I have to order from over the pond then fair enough

If the CCDB is set up properly then there is not much to touch it. Fair enough it is heavier than an air shock but to be able to get out of the saddle on the ups and still get loads of grip like an hardtail and the traction it has in the flat corners is incredible. I have coil on both front and back of the Covert and love the way it feels when compressing into corners. I always had the feeling of been over damped with air? If that makes sense, it was like having too much HSC on. The coil feels poppy and but not in an harsh way. It's nearly 4 I think I'm talking shite now gonna get ready to go home

Just looked - only 116 miles from Roojelly to Gisburn forest but 3.36 hour journey! must be a shoite route. Looks like another early start, thinking mid-week again, M6 on a weekend is a no go. Gisburn is the nearest trail centre to me,47 miles away.cannock is 96 miles but only takes an extra 20-25 minutes to get there it's deffo better when it's dryer, hully gully's a cracking black section and it's always worth doing a couple of times. I wonder how many people miss this out thinking cos its a black its gonna kill them?? when I come back up to do it again I always see riders coming back down the long dirt track which I presume is the red coming down?

Fk all I'm skint Fk all,I don't need owt I refuse to believe that Paul, there must be something you need even if it's for when something does breaks always look to the future and think what if ya grips fall off or you get saggy saddle it's gonna break sooner or later. It's what I tell the wife anyway

its just a matter of looking ahead and getting your front wheel up to the next slab, the only place I have problems round gisburn is the techy ups through the trees and them narrow wooden bridges, I cant seem to judge it to get over.

Personally for the £30 it'll cost you having it powder coated I wouldn't bother, just find your local powder coater and ask them to strip and coat it what ever colour your after.
I have a guy in Castleford who's done a few things for me now including a couple of bikes. Its been a perfect job and all for £30-£40

To be honest Michael there's not much I can do what has not already been done...it was well spec'ed when I got it so just a couple of little things like the grips and rear mech needed changing. The dropper was the biggest thing on my list and id like to change the forks to Pikes or a similar Fox 36 RC2 but in a 160mm model.

Been a bit busy in the garage over the last couple of weekends, managed to get the floor painted with resin paint in frigate grey I also got my shelving sorted and split so I can have separate things on the shelves. One side is for the car cleaning gear and the other is for the bike components and maintenance things. the ground anchors I made at work and the security bolts Ill be using Ive also re-wired the setup so I now have 2x 2g sockets and 2x overhead strip lights all feeding off a purpose CU

1x10 on both mine Matt both using RF n/w 34t. In fact both bikes are using the same setup baring the cranks ones SLX the other is truvativ but will be SLX.
You wont regret it mate and it looks cleaner which is a bonus.

Cheers Hodgy already got insurance sorted, I added it to my specified items both bikes upto £3k I think it added £30 to the annual price. Floor anchor will be put in but the court yard is enclosed and has an electric gate on only 4 houses have access to it? Even so the bikes will be secured to the floor? Cannot take risks these days has most of you know.
I'll have a look for the paint and see if I can get the floor covered

So I started moving things into the garage today. Bikes are in and bought some shelving just need to sort things out tomorrow and buy some boxes for the car cleaning stuff and bike parts. Does anyone know the best stuff to use for the floor? I was thinking some kind of rubberised paint but wasn't sure it was something you could buy??

Mine is in the making, moved into our new house and it's got a door at the end of the garden:) And through gate Cannot wait to start getting my things in, unfortunately it not a double garage but it's big enough for my focus and the bikes and every thing else that I've got planned to go in, and nothing of the wife's is touching a foot in here

I have the 661 padded thigh shorts under some endura DH shorts, I'm not a fan of the tampon ones I just go bare back under my shorts.
Got to say though not impressed with 661 clothing! The quality is a bit poor although the pads and helmets are good.
