Please also bear in mind that I'll be on a brand new bike.. Probably only ridden two maybe three times before Snowdon (if i'm lucky) May actually finish off the build at the campsite! Good way to get some battle scars on the bike, if I can make this then I'll be on the newly built bike too. Least it'll check its back togerher properly

I walked up Snowdon last April. We used The Watkins path which is on the opposite side of the mountain I think. The sun on the way up was superb. I actually burnt the back of my neck. We got to cloud level and the change was amazing! There was snow on the path which was about 4 foot deep, the wind was strong enough to blow you away if you weren't careful and at the summit, the ground was covered in about 5 inches of solid ice.. The snow covered a lot of the paths and we had to use step-by-step GPS to ensure we stayed on the right course. It turned out to be a brilliant walk and one I would love to do again... Even in those conditions It was scary to be honest. Sure enough, on our way bacK down, the sun was stunning! You see, now you've gone and scared me again!

I'd be well up for that or even just CyB but I'll have to see what Zulu fancies because I'm driving the both of us. He's most likely got a curfew! Zulu, it's all downhill mate, you won't have to pedal

I'm not worried about the technical side (though I should be, as I am shit) I am more worried about the fitness side, but I still have time to work on that. In a way that's good too, as I am so focused on that I haven't got time to realise I will probably die on the way down, mangled into a lump of strawberry jam because I tried a drop off I couldn't handle. You old folk worry way too much... It's like any other ride.. A GROUP ride. Like the SAS, we never leave a man behind.. (Zupoo said that once) Me and Nelly will wait for you at the bottom Thanks, that's reeeeelly comforting to know.

Zulu, it's all downhill mate, you won't have to pedal ' FFS are you lot mental? So you want to do Penmachno Satdee, Snowdon Sundee morn then another trail in the afternoon? Are you lads actually feckin human or some kind of droids? I love the 'just' CYB - one of the hardest trails I've done, right there and it's 'just'. Seriously mate if you fancy it no probs but I honestly don't think my 52 year old legs are going to be anywhere near that good. I'll make me own way if you fancy it - no probs honest, don't want to hold anyone back.

I could be tempted by CyB after Penmachno on the Satdee though if anyone fancies it? The place is literally just down the road from where were staying, a bike ride away. It would be a shame not to at least do one of the iccle trails!? PS... Zupoo, I need yow to pay for me fodder, ay it? No way I'm passing that up

Ha Ha fair enough, scran is on me and Bob - yeah, depending on time don't see why a bimble at CYB on the Satdee would'nt be do-able - I might just do the Blue there which is s'posed to be really flowy and bermy (better than Degla blue I've heard). You lot can do the Beast if you like but as a top echelon athlete, I have to be very careful I don't peak too early on the Satdee.

Count me in, we can leave the ladies back at the barn to get the BBQ ready Be a shame to not at least do the red so we can have an hour playing on the skills area

Good man, I'd rather spend the afternoon/ evening playing on the jumps than sat at the barn practicing wheelies, having skid competitions, making a jump and seeing who can get furthest
