I'll see if I can be arsed or not... Have to be home earlyish as I'll have work at 6am Monday I won't be doing anything after Snowdon Sarky but might be up for the Blue and skills area at CYB on the Satdee after Pen, all being well with bike and rider of course. Think this is the best option

The blue is excellent, but unless you guys, are seriously fit, I'd wait to make that decision on the day.. I did CYB blue, and the beast, on a Saturday, and then Snowdon, on the Sunday, in 2013.. And it took me a week to get full use of my body parts... And I was 15kg lighter, and a lot fitter...

Good suggestion Sarky and what I was thinking, if I am absolutely shattered after Pen then I will have to think ahead to making sure I don't ruin Snowdon by over doing it. It'll be an on the day judgement thing. I'd love to think I could do all this but you have to be realistic with yourself.

I'll at least cycle over to the skills loop for some messing around

The Blues steady enough. Nice little pootle after a longer ride. Reckon it'd be ok just to warm down and then tit about on the skills area if other people wanted to get on and do the beast or whatever. Like the idea of doing something after snowdon if the body will take it though. Again it'll be a judgement call on the day.

So.... how we all doing fitness wise?
Went out yesterday for the first time since before Christmas. A steady 27 miles and managed ok. I think I'll be ok as long as I don't keep leaving it weeks between rides!

To be fair to me I didn't plan on going further than 5 miles and I didn't let anyone down. Really need to get out more but I think I've fractured my motivation.

I keep thinking that I should go out and just ride up as many hills as I can... Then I think about it a bit more and say "nah, fook that".

Getting the Mega finished for this ride is going to be a very close thing.. If it is done in time, Penmachno and Snowdon will be it's maiden ride!
If it's not finished, I'll be on my 456.. That doesn't worry me 1 bit apart from the wheels. I think they'll probably explode on Snowdon!

Forks this week. Just waiting for Stiff Cycles to tell me how much! Their site says £1039 but Jungle Products who distribute them in the UK say £890!! I'll be getting stem, saddle, grips etc this week too. So yep, just wheels then
