Oneup components radr cage is the optimal length for a 42t expander and is longer than a small cage and shorter than a medium cage. $55 seems abit steep though.

I've got the rad cage on mine also. The radr is oneup components latest cage it replaces both parts of the shimano cage.

And to be fair, each component isn't that much more to buy than XTR 10 speed. I'm to tight to buy xtr cheap as chips is me ... the miles I do, mate would cost to much money ..

on roundies not low coggers, but that looks strained too,would this eventually not wear the tension on the mech? i`m not sure mate, i need to get out and try it but i`m nursing a tweaked back at present and all i can do is keep looking at the bloody thing and compare it to pics I've been googling. I'll let you know how I get on at gisburn tomorrow with it Paul.

It's getting a bit too regular now neil,this is third time in about 12 months.all i did was lean over me bike when i was checking over for sundays ride and when i straightened up it felt like i'd been stabbed in me lower back.

RESPEK, innit.. I wanted to join the Para's to begin with but decided to get turned down by the Marines instead.
