Damn mate! That's upsetting... They'll be engineering firms that manufacture an insert for you no doubt.

This might be a common fault Jay - do some on line digging mate and you might get a new frame.

I've claimed under warranty because Hotlines suggested it. They didn't say It would get me anywhere but, It won't harm to try!
At the end of the day, assuming I don't get a new front end under warranty, I can either fix it or I can't.
If I can, fantastic.. If I can't, not so great. I'll just have to buy a new front end! Expensive I'd imagine but not the end of the world!

The BB was Chris King so perhaps unlikely to have been the cause.

Jeez, what a bummer. Hope you sort it.
You might not even have caused it by miss-aligning it. Possibly it was thread galling caused by an out of tolerance thread profile on one side or insufficient / wrong type of lube. I'm sure you know more about this than me but I've seen such a thing happen to oil well casing (the steel pipe used to line wells).

I'm 100% certain I didn't cause it. Anywho, I should hear what's happening about it in the next few days.

Given your job I can easily believe you and on the photos they don't look miss aligned. I'm looking forward to an update giving good news. This one really has grabbed maximum attention. Good luck.

Cheers mate.
I've been promised an answer this week so, one way or the other, I'll know what I'm having to do.
They have said (Hotlines) that it's a very difficult case because I can't prove that I'm not to blame but, they can't prove I am..
The guy at Hotlines has basically admitted that the decision (which will be made by Nukeproof themselves) will almost boil down to the mood of the bloke making the decision!
As I stand now, I will either get a new frame for free or I'll have to buy another.. If it can't be repaired, obviously.
