I'm after the front end of a 2015 Nukeproof Mega AM 275 frame.
Can anybody point me in the right direction?
I've checked the Hotlines website but they don't have the part on there. I'm waiting to hear from them!
Cheers

The BB is shagged too but that's not a major issue!
On the plus side, I fitted the Reverb no problem.

How you manage that? May tap but chances are slim I'm afraid.
Two repairs I've heard of though, large helicoil, bike shop or local engineering firm will help, or you can drill and ream and press a threaded sleeve in

I can sort you out the helicoil stuff, probably for free if you find out what you need. Altho will be best off with a decent bike shop as your first option

I'm looking into Helicoils now. We have taps at work but almost certain we don't have one big enough! I'll take it to the LBS in a few days when I'm off and see what they think..
I work as a maintenance engineer, I fix multi million pound cranes for a living and work to tolerances of less than 0.5mm at times and I have never stripped a thread nevermind a thread THAT big!
I'll put 2 years salary on the threads being fucked up to start with!
I screwed the BB cup in by hand and then tried to unscrew it to apply a bit of grease.. It wouldn't budge!
Took me the best part of today to get the thing out.. The Chris King BB cup is also shagged..

I'll take it to Swinno's on me next day off!
I've e-mailed the UK distributer about it. Just have to wait for them to call me a nob now..
Problem is, like you say, they'll say it was me.. I can't prove otherwise!

Doh, I thought you said the rear triangle. Thats not good, you can helicoiled it but that would bug theeeee shit out of me.
Now you know how I felt when I stripped the threads on my new Boxxers. proper gut wrenching feeling.

I've been waiting months to build this and spent £1000's and now it looks like I could have a scrap bit of aluminium!

It looks bad but it may not be as bad as it looks, it may just be the first few threads that are knackered and a retap may just sort it out

It does look bad but, yeah, I think it looks worse than it is.. Or is that wishful thinking!?
At best, it will be fine after being tapped and all I'll have to do is buy another bottom bracket.
At worst, I'll have to buy a new front end and new bottom bracket.. I'm guessing a new front won't be cheap!

when I was rebuilding my frame after I`d had it painted I thought I`d done exactly the same but I managed to save it as it was only the first couple of threads that I got crossed up. hope you can get it sorted mate.
