this starts from dales bike centre near reeth www.dalesbikecentre.co.uk/starts with a killer climb up fremington edge then heads over to gunnerside ghyll then back. www.gpsies.com/map.do?fileId=leegoksnnupmosysthis is basically the route but im looking at tweaking it on the return leg, im open to suggestions. on this occasion, if the weather is horrible on the day im going to call it off and rearrange it for another time. its amongst beautful scenery, and should be well drained. iv only done it once before, so i'll be following my garmin and will bring a map.

The mrs is working this weekend coming so should be off for this which means Im like the oasis album, a definitely maybe.
I will confirm closer to the date. It's not only a 57 miles from me but still takes two hours due to the slow country lanes once you come off near Skipton.
The ard rock starts with the road climb and then climb up fremington edge I think, I was thinking what the feck have I let myself in for.

Glynn that's crazy, you are around 40 miles further away but it takes more or less the same time.
Could we not aim for a ten meet up for 10.30 departure.
Sunset for the 16th jan 16.54.
I need to get some mor climbing miles in I think.
It's ironic that mr I'm so slow and unfit Gaz is training around the peaks and the like to improve fitness for marathon events when I'm just interested at the moment in getting fit enough to be able to join yourself and Gaz on a peaks or lakes ride. He can't keep this ruse up my more. lol.

ok we might have to come to an agreement about the start time. if roundie needs an earlier start and gaz is coming the furthest? is there a reason you cant make it earlier john?

Mike if I can attend you are welcome to meet at McDonald's and put your bike on my roof. Feels like dejavu but I will try not to drop out this time. Surely I can't get another cold.

No not really should be okay for 9.30 it's just I get up and get saddled with sorting the kids out with their breakfast. Oh yeah, I always like to try and have a movement before I head out, for some reason my system doesn't start to work until after 8am。 you did ask. I expect they have facilities there if we are meeting at the dales bike centre so should be okay and I know there's a public loo in a village before Kilnsey if I get caught short.
