Next Friday and Saturday are currently showing as being dry, a lot can change but fingers crossed we may be lucky.
Just to get us in the mood.
This covers lots of parts we will ride it just may look a little different.

Looks good that John, I think I've got tonsillitis so I'll make a decision later in the week if I can make it. hopefully get some antibiotics from the quack tomorrow.

These bloody repeats ..was hoping to see something new ...lol At least I know the d.o.b.of that doggy dollop that attacked me as I saw it starting to hide in the leaves around the 2.52 mark ! I did recognise quite a bit of the route ..although those dry & dusty conditions threw me for a while ...

So are we meeting in the little car park on the left or the layby on the right?

Looking at the possible turn out it may be both, I may try to park just further down the road at that small park so there's more space for others.

There is a height barrier on the car park so watch out if your bike is on the roof!

Actually Gaz I've just realised you are talking about the small car park at the small swing park that we emerge from the woods at, there's only space for 4 or 5 cars there anyway. I really thought about the layby type parking near the large house which is the top right in your snipped photo space for 10 cars there, of course there may others already parked there but then there's the layby across as well.

It looks like we may have some new members for the gang on the day.
For those that haven't ridden these parts before, thick puncture resistant side wall tyres are recommended or carry a couple of spares, as there's several rocky stretches, some shabby parts as well. Oh some grip would be good as well. Plenty of fluids and nibbles.

Excel where do you currently reside? Where do you normally ride. Full face may be okay for a couple of bits but overkill for most and you may over heat on the many miles of steepish climbs.
