Gaz and anybody else interested how about we aim for the friday 22nd then and if the weather looks crops st the beginning of that week we can revert to the Tues to Thursday the week after. I think people are after a solid date, mate. With it being mid-week, most will need to book a day off work! I can imagine people not being too happy if they book a day off work only for the ride to be moved to the next week... It'd be a wasted day for them! Just pick a date, stick to it and if the weather is shit, so be it!

Lets go for the 22nd then, my only issue is if the weather for the summit is going to be dodgy eg extremely windy then maybe keep the date but goto llandegla instead.
I was actually thinking of llandegla on the way back if we did snowdon early morning, or is that just a bad idea.
I also thought if all else fails doing llandegla one morning in June and then going to llanberis pushing up before 5pm ready to crash down afetr

I'd be up for degla on way back
If
It's not wet
Purely because I cba to dry off to get in car then get changed again at degla to get wet dry off and change again to come.home
If it's dry ish it's easy enough to stay in mtb gear all day till after degla

Something to bear in mind for summer.

yeah! id say that considering its a 1000ft climb up a mountain, around half being ridable is a fair amount.

1000m isn't it?... And the 60% would be for those who are relatively fit, or good climbers...
