I should still be but things have just a got a bit trickier due to starting a new job/contract. Which was finalised whilst during my hols.
So need to manipulate to get the day off.

Warrenty as the swing arm bearings went after only 6 months
Orange said yeah send it us and we will sort it
Giving me a new swing arm
But they don't do white any more. ... so had to pick a new colour for the swing arm then my frame has been stripped and sent to orange aswell so they can respray the whole lot the new colour.... so taking longer than first thought,
An hours job for leisure lakes to swap bearings under there Warrenty ended up as so far 3 weeks under orange Warrenty. ..

At least you will end up with what's like a new bike.
Pick it up from Halifax. And I'll show you around hebden bridge to test it out.

But yeah will be like new
Fresh paint
Fresh bearings
New gear cables in and out
New BB
Still the same crapy rider haha

But only if I have my bike back. ... not heard anything about it at all for a week or two...
So up until Thursday I suppose they could ring me and I can come but if nothing by Thursday evening then I'm unfortunately a no
Which means we need to do it again if I can't this time

So far so good just picked bike up from shop had the fork switched back. Not been out properly since that Tuesday over acci though so be patient with me

I visited there during a wales holiday last year and found some reasonable parking belonging to a cafe between the road with the hotels and spar and the main lakeside road across from the hydro museum and park etc. I take it any of these would do. I better check where we are heading form there. a route might be handy, nowt like leaving it to the last minute. There's a car of three silly buggers only I think and hopefully jack if he gets his bike back but I think that's looking slim. It's a shame more people can't make it but a bigger shame to miss out whilst there's a narrow time window left and reasonable weather forecast for Friday. |
