If you are going into Carlisle mate you should be able to find some isopropyl alcohol?
I'd get that deffo because it's cheaper and you can also use it to clean rotors - much better than the stuff in cans, imo.

I think all the auto glym is for is glue residue , I can't see shit to be honest with you but just going by what lee at invisiframe has said as he's done a few gloss red capras in gloss wrap .

How much is the invisiframe? I really didn't fancy doing this and it was £100 fitted for the Scott i thought that was good. £72 delivered . I don't fancy taking my bike in car all the way to Carlisle and wait a week then go back to find they fucked it up as the bike shop I asked if they could do it wasn't to sure what I was in about and it's the same shop I bought my giant road bike from as that's overdue a free service . It was someone I've never spoken to over the phone before so perhaps he was new . Only trouble is I can't get bike into boot of the Mondeo as my missis won't be happy With no double pram in the boot lol. Really need to sort those roof bars out or get a tow bar fired . The latter would be ideal but double the cash .

-you need to remove that Invisiframe sticker...the blue just doesn't go, even if you have the Fox dials...lol -you need to get those Rockguardz down tube carbon protector...their front mudguard is also very sweet. - i had those same grips before....ODI/SDG...didn't get on with them since they are too thin. see how you get on...

I've ordered the rockgaurds downtube as i got one on the cube . yea ive only used those han solo grips opnce and they were ok but for some reason the seem a bit thin on the Capra BUT i think this is due to the stem being a bit shirt or should i say top tube , could og got a large but then my stand over height would of been messed up and i knew the top tube would come up on the short side and knew i would need to get a new stem . yea sticker will come off soon enough lol

That's a beaut! Really is. Right with the bars i think. Gotta get rid of the invisiframe sticker though. Love those grips. How come you're cramped? i suppose it feels cramped compared to the cube ,my arms bend to much and if im on trail and go forward im going over the bars as my head already lines up with the bars . i think ive sold cube now pending payment and collection in couple of weeks (guy is sorting a deposit out tomorrow and will see if he is genuine. i was going to keep it until i ended ebay auction and had txts asking if i still had it . he's very keen and for £2300 he willing to cough up for it i cant moan really ,but would be sorry for it to go . if hes a messer then no bother i will just keep it

Didn't realise those wheels were carbon?!? If so, that really is a "bargain"!? Tubeless is easy and has got to be done!?

Didn't realise those wheels were carbon?!? If so, that really is a "bargain"!? Tubeless is easy and has got to be done!? I know its easy lol all my bikes are tubeless just heard the high rollers were buggers to get back on , but nope soapy water and they just slid on . its done but i didn't do it before my first ride out .but took 10 mins if that to do both and both pumped up very easy with track pumps and no need for the compressed air . took it out today for first time . it hard work going from 29er and 650b , the 29er is defo quicker on the ups and the capra is fast going down and i felt more confident on the capra on the downs but not so good going up techy stuff as the cube 29er just rolled up it . first thoughts ...i need to get fitter and lose 3 stone at least , other than that the bike felt ok to start with and once i started to get into it it just felt like i was slowly getting into a leather glove and then it just fitted snug and stretched out a bit just as leather gloves do . i then felt moulded to the bike and it sticks like glue on down , i became a bit nervous on fast corners and pressed the brake a few times but i got a PB on descender bender from top to bottom . and thats beat the 29er . so my aim now is to ride more ,get on the road bike ride more ,get to the gym and run on treadmill (i cant run for shit). Now to get a van that runs on LPG just to go to trails and bike parks . and to do the fecking Chase !!! And yea Carbon wheels . I really do miss the climb switch on both the shock and forks .

Sounds like the feeling-out process has begun, but the first date went well. Look forward to hearing your progress. yes it went better than expected it to be , the bike loves to go down . on the climbs it will eventually as its my fitness thats holding it up . Freaking love the gears on the 1x11 XO1 set up . love the range and a bit better than the cubes XTR 11-40 but the srams 10-42 was vey good . i got the rear shock pretty good as i kept stopping to adjust it, could do with a few tweeks and maybe 20psi less , but the forks need work as it just dont seem to soak up the little bumps but rather dig in on the bigger tecky stuff . ive set the rebound 6 clicks in from fast to slow . didnt want it to fast . but the compression needs work and may take it to a bike shop . really do miss the climbs switch in the forks , rear shock was fine and didnt realy get any pedal bob as much as i thought i would and there is no way that shock will bottom out EVER ! (with the riding i do anyway) it was hard to get into it at first this was due to a geo change with the slack head angle and being a 160 650b compared to a 140 29er . with the capra i can actually have the seat high with the 150mm reverb and then when its down my feet can touch the floor . in a couple of week i will do a better in depth review . just need to get forks sset up right as without no climb switch it a bugger but again that my fitness and i will get used to it i know i will as i couldnt stop smiling afterwards .

You should try and get through most of the travel on the fork and shock at least once per ride for the health of the fork/shock...apparently?! You can always run less air but add some spacers if needed and tinker a bit further that way. To be honest i believe the vast majority of us (if not all) don't run the fork and shock at their 100% best setup...with all the variables you can play with...air pressure, rebound, spacers, etc, etc... I do reach for both the dials on the fork and shock often tho, but still don't entirely know on the shock when on full open mode, which of the 3 settings i prefer. The shock was pushed by TFT according to my bike, but as soon as it arrived i noticed that i need to add a bigger volume spacer because it was bottoming out on not too heavy stuff. Like i said before, if you were to reduce the travel of the fork by 10mm, it should improve climbing even further. Good luck. Glad you are enjoying the bike.
