Id be tempted to go hope from usability point of view, but you have a CK bottom bracket

Id be tempted to go hope from usability point of view, but you have a CK bottom bracket ...and headset! Lol...OCD wouldn't let me choose anything else! However 200 quid difference is a lot of money and I'm sceptical of the difference in quality!? Just need to wait for the other colour combo to make a decision on which rims to get!

True CK hubs are very expensive. Id go hope in that case can get black or silver which work with most wheelsets or red for extra speed. I'm bias I've just done a hope wheelset but personally I couldn't justify the cost increase between the two.
Plus finding an LBS that stocks hope is way easier than one that carries CK.

Well, I've ordered the wheels with CK... Hopefully the rims will arrive next week so I can make a decision to go with they ones on the image or a gloss black rim with dark grey graphics...still not sure which would look better! Can't wait to get the bike back!

I bet. Was coaching a guy last week on a Kingdom Ti bike. Which one? Vendetta (HT), Hex (like mine) or Switch (160mm travel)? I would love a Vendetta but can't really justify the cost since it would be hard for me to actually use it since the Hex in a truly awesome machine! How much do you charge for a coaching session of you don't mind me asking?

It was about 140/150 travel, pretty slack. Courses depend on group/private, duration;half-day/full/2-day. Start from £35 to £200 wish Was his name Chris, Lee or Mathew by any chance? Did you have a go? Yes, mine is pretty slack and i love it.

Met Graham, the owner of Sixth Elements today who brought me that rim above. It looks SOOOO nice, even nicer than the images. really wide and great details. Hopefully by next week i should have my new wheels. He said "ill be very surprised if you don't notice a difference from the Mavic's"?! If anyone is ever considering some carbon wheels, you should defo look at these. The graphics are awesome too, proper decals that will never come off rather than stickers!?

They are very sweet! F@&£ me! MAXXIS tires are a pain to get on the rim compared to Schwalbe...no give whatsoever!

Nice!!! They look pretty deep. With the tires on, they look like tractor wheels! The quality is incredible along with the details! Service was amazing...Graham (owner of sixth element) even delivered them to me by hand, along with a courtesy t-shirt and mudguard. Now I understand what the Chris King buzz is all about...not as loud as the Crossmax's. I'm very pleased...stuck an Ikon 2.35 on the rear (it's probably too big since I have hardly any clearance) and a HRII 2.3 on the front. Because the rims are so wide, it makes the tires quite square and they look HUGE!

They look brilliant. Where's the complete pics? Good choice with the Ikon. Do you like the "buzz"? I'll take tonight to show you. Ran out of battery yesterday and was game-time! Go Portugal! I don't mind the buzz...it's quite interesting tbh and a lot less noisy than the Crossmax's (which I still think no other wheels can beat in terms of looks). The 2.35 is a really tight fit but hopefully alright for the "summer" setup. In the winter will run Hans Dampf 2.25 rear, Magic Mary 2.3 front. Testing tonight. Excited!

I do like them, but they certainly give the effect of the wheel being a plus size, they are quite like the deep rimmed roadie wheels.

I must admit I was disappointed with the crank angle and valve alignment but wheels do looks great. Don't worry about the mudguard

Lol Called the number I had for the mudguard and no one answered!

I do like them, but they certainly give the effect of the wheel being a plus size, they are quite like the deep rimmed roadie wheels. They give the feel and the width to be honest! Just got back from a ride and a friend asked me if they were in fact plus tires!? Being 38 external, 32 internal, they really open the tires and make them wider...even though they are not! I'm very happy because it makes me realise the plus tires are actually not necessary! I can just imagine when I put a Magic Mary on the front!?

Look good those mate, but will they make you go faster? I hope not it's hard keeping up anyway!!! That's the idea! But I need to get in shape...been out of the bike for a while...more than the carbon rims, I got them for the CK hubs. I noticed they roll really well, pick up speed fast, specially when pumping...very stiff. But not sure if anymore than the Mavic's to be honest! Overall, I couldn't be happier!...unless they were free! Lol

They look great, certainly bloated the tyres, has it squared them off a lot? Is the grip still there leaning it over in corners? Yes, they do square off the tyres a bit but from the short 12 mile run last night, they do seem to give more grip and I was surprised how they held a few lines...even though it could be a variety of different things, they seem to have a lot of grip. Because of the "bigger" tyres, it gives more comfort I think...you will have to see them live. Portugal today, but next week when I get back we need to arrange a Cannock ride since I've never been there.
