With it being a no riding "family weekend" I thought it was a good excuse to clean off a months worth of dirt from bike park Wales, Forest of Dean and comedy brenin The cable rubbing was getting a bit of a joke So I spent a decent junk of time with my hose cutters and bleed kits shortening hoses and completely re routing all the hoses so they come around the head tube Added a few little trick bolts I'm not going to get carried away but ti bolts are noticeably lighter in the hand and the standard ones were rusty and corroded minging things All clean

The pink and green shouldn't work - but it looks strangely ok....
Good work on the hoses - you still got enough length for the bars to turn fully?

The pink and green shouldn't work Incorrect, pink and green should definitely work, basic art The further apart the colours are (opposite sides) the better they work together you still got enough length for the bars to turn fully? Yeah plenty, can easily go 90 degrees each way, maybe a little to short in a crash but knowing me we will find out soon enough!

The pink deffo makes the colour scheme - it's a belter is that. Few quids worth of Muc off gear there I've stopped paying for it, Wilko's bike cleaner for me .

Nelly, do you find the rear end sliding when cornering?
What tyre have you go on the back?

No but then I'm not riding cannock which is all pebbles, last few rides have all been sloppy mud or Welsh rock, no real trail center stuff so not sure if we can compare, I'm running magic Mary front, hans Dampf rear, both 2.35 trail star front and pacestar rear, rode Cannock a few times over winter in complete ice and it stuck to the trail well, I run about 25psi front and 27/28ish rear give or take a few. Not very efficient but very grippy
With my weight it would be like you running your tyres in the very very low 20's

FFS Dan, hope you don't regret this, but as Gaz said - if it's what you are set on then good luck mate.
Change your mind man, there is room for family and biking.
